Bottomless Links: The Ho Ho Ho Edition

Holiday Tunage

Kellen muses about Vince Guaraldi's genius soundtrack to "A Charlie Brown Christmas." (a personal fav of mine too!)

Came across this blog dedicated entirely to Christmas music on record. I now feel very inspired to dig up my 1983 Care Bear Christmas album and play it on my record player.

Winter Wonderlands

Neil posted some beautiful pics of his Midwest home in the snow.

... so did Swinebread in Portland.

Kelly, thanks for the mention. But I don't know if it's worth digging out the Care Bares Christmas album. Maybe the Pac Man Christmas, but that's still extreme.

Merry Christmas!

Pac Man Christmas?! Oh wow! Now I've GOT to check that out! ;)

Hey thanks for the nod :)

Merry Christmas Eve!

Nah, skip the Pac Man, but you should hear the Batman, Superman and Wonder Woman Christmas Stories.

BTW, really nice music. Do a Christmas recording and I'll plug the heck out of it next year....

Thanks for the links, Kelly! And Merry Christmas!

I'm currently rocking out to "Tis The Season for Los Straitjackets", the first volume of "Christmas Remixed" and Richard Cheese & Lounge Against The Machine's "Christmas In Las Vegas". My tastes, they are fairly eclectic. :)

I TOTALLY want to check out the Superman, Batman, & Wonder Woman Christmas Stories! That would be awesome! And one of these days I'd love to do a Christmas album...

K.D.- eclectic tastes indeed! ;)

Dear Kelly:
Merry Christmas. Where I can send yoy the questions for the interview?.
By the way, my brother, also a fan of comic books, really enjoyed Elegy for Ted Kord... Both were very upset when we saw him dead

Hi Pablo- Merry Christmas to you, too! I'm glad you and you're brother liked the Elegy for Ted Kord. That's one of my personal faves as well! :)

You can email me at kelly@kellyfentonjazz.com

I look forward to it! Cheers!
