The holidays this year are tinged with a bit of sadness; Oscar Peterson passed away this past Sunday. Unfortunately, not many seem to know. Such is the curse of a major holiday.
Thankfully, blog newbie Gregory Dudzienski was on top of his game, which is how I found out.
I never feel comfortable eulogizing such greats as Oscar Peterson, so I will direct you towards those who are better at remembering this beautiful jazz pianist:
